Eye Doctors at Remke Eye Clinic

Dr. Joseph W. Remke III, OD

Dr. Joseph Remke, III, OD, attended Austin Peay State University and received his doctorate in optometry from Southern College of Optometry.  He founded Remke Eye Clinic with his father, Dr. Joseph Remke, Jr and his brother Thomas Remke.

 

He is the past president of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and has been honored as Tennessee’s Optometrist of the year.  During his years in practice, he has been a clinical investigator for new soft contact lenses, participated in several clinical studies for new drugs for the eye and served as an Adjunct Professor at Southern College of Optometry.

 

Dr. Remke has served his community as past president of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and is past chairman of the City of Lawrenceburg Board of Public Utilities.  As an advocate for education, he has served on the boards of the Columbia State Community College Foundation, the Austin Peay State University Foundation, the 21st Century Council and is Chairman of the Sacred Heart School Endowment.

 

During his free time, Dr. Remke and his family enjoy sailing and automobiles and he is a national high-performance driving instructor for the Porsche Club of America.

 

 Dr. Stephanie Judkins Price

Dr. Stephanie Judkins Price received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.  A Nashville native and graduate of Belmont University, she completed a one year residency in Family Practice at the University of Alabama-Birmingham where she focused on the treatment of glaucoma and fitting specialty contact lenses.

 

Stephanie recently returned to Middle Tennessee after spending five years in San Jose, California, most recently serving as the Clinic Director for a large LASIK and cataract center.  During her time in the Bay Area, Stephanie served as a Trustee to the Board of the Santa Clara County Optometric Society, was an active member of the Junior League of San Jose, and a regular volunteer for Project Homeless Connect in San Francisco.

 

In her free time Dr. Price enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two fluffy dogs, Oliver and Scout.  She also enjoys running, live music, water skiing and fine dining.
